A trip to the doctor

My girly & I trekked off to the doctor for her two year well-baby check up. She's at the age where she already knows the doctor is not always a pleasant experience, even if she gets a sticker at the ed of the appointment!

She tried to get away with playing outside for quite some time

Finally got her inside! Got weighed (something around 32lbs) & measured and then headed into the office where there were TOYS to play with! [Girly is no longer off the charts for weight OR height, but is in the 95 percentile for BOTH! Yowzas, what a healthy little girl]

Shake, shake, shake!

Open?

Finally ... a fake smile moments before the doctor walked in!

Brooke has had a runny nose and a little bit of a cold for the past week, which I chalked up to going to Tiny Tots where all of the kids seem to continually pass around runny noses and coughs. Well, it was a huge surprise to me when the doctor announced that she has double ear infection and a yeast infection! Sounds disgusting right? Probably due to the fact that she's been going to the pool and playing outside in our pool in her swim diapers. Also another reason why the diaper rash cream I've been religiously applying has not done ANYTHING. Doctor informed me: bumpy rash = diaper rash, red all over = yeast infection. Welp, after one shot and a teary toddler later, I tried to cheer my girl up by taking her to eat her favorite thing ever: noodles!

Headed off to Ichiben, where they have delicious saimin (ramen) dishes and fried rice with garlic chips on top...

Yummmy

Watching her Mickey Mouse and the choo choo train... at random points she will YELL out "ALL ABOARD!"-- pretty funny and embarrassing!

My family and I went to eat at a fancy restaurant to celebrate my mom's retirement so I can post those pictures later :)
