happy

Even though my little girl has been a little ... temperamental, to say the least, it seems to be subsiding. She haas been quite the good girl recently and I am enjoying it and crossing my fingers that it lasts. Sassy pants turned 2 years and 2 months on friday and we had a great day at the Discovery Center with our friends Aunty Melissa and baby Adrian.

I hope the two of them grow up to be great friends so Melissa & I can have lots more playdates in the future ;)

Then we went to City Mill to buy things to hang a new swing for the little girl. She enjoyed her lollipop and talked to the "Old Man" (the cashier). Pretty embarrassing ... she actually looked at him, then looked at me and asked, "what's the old man doing?"

These puppy eyes are DANGEROUS!

Little lady loves her new swing. She is so happy in these pictures, they are by far my favorite pictures of her this year.

I know, blurry, but I love how tiny she looks!

  1. Glad things are getting better with behavior. Two is a tough age. I can see by the look on her face that the swing is a big hit :)

  3. We have that same swing! She looks so bubbly with joy on it, made me smile :) And OH.MY.GOSH, those puppy eyes are her secret weapon, no one could resist.

  4. Swinging was always a favorite of my girls. They both loved it so much. My oldest would fall to sleep outside under the tree swinging all the time.

  8. My daughter is OBSESSED with swings right now, but we don't have any trees that are big enough to hang one from. What's yours hanging from?
