i've lived in hawaii practically my entire life and thought i'd showcase a few pieces from here. i've noticed that tourists go cuckoo for coco puffs for all hawaii things, but typically are rather tacky, tourist-y items that they spend way too much money on. here are a few shops/jewelry/items that are from hawaii, but that either i'd spend money on, or are popular with locals here.
the first is the jewelry by ginger 13. they are sold in boutiques all over hawaii and every time i see their bracelets, i covet one. of course, i haven't pulled the trigger to actually BUY one but aren't they gorgeous? here's the website:
