surprise, surprise

my in-laws turned the big 5-0 this year and my sister in law and husband decided to throw them a surprise birthday party. unfortunately, the ONE DAY we picked rained-- pretty hard -- and so while it was a gloomy day, it was still a lot of fun.

we asked guests to bring their favorite bottle of wine to share since my in laws love their wine :)
