We made it! After a five hour flight, 2 major meltdowns on the plane & a 1 hour shuttle, we arrived. Needless to say, Brooke was exhausted but ready to go. Last night we went to Downtown Disney and had the harsh reality of Disney on a Saturday night. After hitting up ALL the restaurants and either (1) being told they were only accepting reservations or (2) waiting 1.5 hours for a table, we ate some cardboard-like pizza and squeezed our way through crowds to walk around. People at Disney are crazy. They certainly only look out for themselves. We have been pushed, bumped into and banged into without even a "sorry" or "scuse me." Guess we're not in Kansas anymore, Toto.
Today we walked around Downtown Disney, watched Disney Junior live on stage, rode rides and are finally taking a little rest. It is so exciting to be able to take my girl to meet Mickey and Minnie while she really and truly believes they are real. It is so magical to see things through her eyes ... Makes me feel like a kid again. Anyway, I'll be blogging from the iPad (so really limited) C ya real soon! (couldn't help myself)
