My sister-in-law, 38 weeks + a few days pregnant. Little Mason fully baked, just nice and comfortable...
My sister-in-law is due to give birth on the 20th. She's at the impatient point where all of her focus is on when & how will it happen?
I don't blame her. In 3(!) short days, she'll hit 40 weeks and by then, I had a 2 week old baby, exhausted but deliriously happy.
At what week did you give birth? How did it happen? Did you try any techniqes to "force" you into labor?

Oh hi, new follower here. I gave birth at 40 weeks and 2 days. I had all but give up by this point. Was full on OVER playing the waiting game so it came as quite the surprise.
ReplyDeleteBut... I went into false labour at 33weeks. That week I was just finishing off a rather strenuous work contract, strenuous in that I was on my feet all day and running up and down stairs multiple times as the bathroom was on a separate floor to where I was working. My mucous plug popped out and i started getting a lot of "contractions." I was flown (via medevac) to a bigger hospital with a NICU (I live in a somewhat isolated part of northern canada), but baby decided to stay in after all.
So yeah, STAIRS... and if all else fails just give up (easier said than done).
Gooduck:)
I've had three babies, and with my last two I went into labor hours after letting my husband 'get lucky'!! So give that a shot!
ReplyDeleteOkay, first of all: Holy Cow, She Looks AMAZING! At 38 weeks I was enormous and gross. Ha!
ReplyDeleteI had Celia early, but with Henry I had to be induced because I tried absolutely every trick in the book and nothing put me into labor.
She looks great! I was 10 days late. He finally decided to get things going on the morning of the scheduled induction. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute picture!! She's adorable!
ReplyDeleteha! she looks so cute! i have gone on my own for 2 of the babes--and always a little early! i am sure mason will be such a cutie!
