My cousin posted on her facebook that she was giving away (free!) a great condition Barbie house, filled with furniture and accessories and I jumped at the chance (I love hand me down toys!). So we drove to Hawaii Kai-- approximately 30-45 minutes away from where we live to pick up the house. While we were there, we acted like tourists and fed the ducks at the marina...

Duck feeding ended quickly when a huge white (and rather ugly) duck started chasing Brooke, Vance freaked out and tried to shoo the duck away (without much luck) and I sat on the side, crouched over cracking up.

Then had lunch at Moena Cafe in Koko Marina shopping center. I found it based off of raving Yelp reviews. I was ... underwhelmed, but the food was OK.

ReplyDeleteDon't you just hate it when you go somewhere based on the awesome reviews, then you wonder if you're missing something? My husband is picky, but I tend to be the one giving places "blah" reviews online. Guess I don't want people to get their hopes up!
ReplyDeleteGreat deal on the free dollhouse too! My MIL got one fully loaded at a yard sale for $40 after much bargaining--and we thought that was an absolute steal!
